description:
Gorgeous orange red prismatic lustrous crystals of quartz to 4.0 cm in length over the top of a crystallize sphalerite matrix. Typical of these, minimal micro-chipping present. Overall I think in great condition though. Measures 6.5 x 6.0 x 3.5 cm. Great color contrast with the orange quartz on the black sphalerite. Collected in the 1990s, this find came and went very quickly not to be seen again. An excellent small cabinet example.
