The top side of this 27.0 x 22.0 x 9.0 cm matrix is covered by botryoidal crystallized orpiment. Scattered throughout richly over the top of this are many prismatic red crystals of realgar to 2.0 cm in size. Some rubbing present to the orpiment in light micro-chipping to the realgar, this very typical of these examples, I still think in good condition for such a large example for the locality and species. Minor colorless barite present as well. Shipping weight: 15 pounds. Ex Jordi Povill collection.
