description: The top of this 7.5 x 7.5 x 3.5 cm matrix is completely covered with glassy gemmy deep red scalenohedral crystals of rhodochrosite to 1.2 cm in length. Some chipping and cleaving present as seen. Despite the damage, the color, luster, and transparency on this one are outstanding. This is really eye-catching and is a beautiful specimen.
