Rhodochrosite (repaired)
specimen number:
8602323
location:
Sweet Home mine, Alma, Colorado, USA
description:
Very attractive cluster of red translucent rhombohedral semi lustrous rhodochrosite crystals, the largest crystal measuring to 1.3 cm in size. This has been repaired, the large crystal it top is repaired back onto the cluster. Even if removed, this is a very aesthetic and choice specimen. I believe this from the hedgehog pocket.
