description: A flat matrix plate of crystallized "needle quartz" measuring 11.5 x 5.2 x 2.2 cm in size, this aesthetically scattered with many fine pink rhombohedral crystals of rhodochrosite to 1.0 cm in size. Very clean of damage; very typical for this famous pocket. The contrast of the pink rhodochrosite on the white needle quartz is very pleasing. Ex Lloyd Tate collection. Comes with a custom acrylic base.
