description:
Lustrous needlelike crystals of rutile measuring to 0.5 cm in length scattered across the top of a matrix mostly covered by glassy gemmy colorless crystals of quartz. Slight damage present. This still in very good condition especially when one considers the age of the piece. The specimen comes with a neat antique label as shown at the end of the video. The label dates the specimen to the latter part of the 19th century.
