description: A classic example of what is known as a lady's slipper, crystallized siderite forming as an epimorph after what one presumes to have been barite. In outstanding condition and measures 11.5 x 6.5 x 0.5 cm. Great history on this one with previous label noting an original acquisition from celebrated Cornish dealer Richard Talling. This previous label is from the Brush collection at Yale University. These are one of the more recognizable of Cornish classics. Ex Ed Raines collection.
