description:
Quite choice for the species from this locality, crystallized siderite and groupings to 1.0 cm in size are covering a thin matrix with minor calcite. This is in terrific condition. At one time part of the collection of John Brottlund. He worked at the Montreal mine and was responsible for most specimens recovered. The specimen was displayed in several large shows in the United States during the 1990s. This mine closed forever in 1962. Examples of the species from this locality are rarely seen available today.
