Attractive old specimen showing slightly amethystine glassy and gemmy crystals of quartz averaging 0.3 cm in size completely covering this breccia matrix. Crystals of zeunerite a richly scattered throughout. There is a natural fracture through the matrix, this is re-cemented and the piece is solid. Crystallized all around with no real points of attachment. The specimen comes with an antique label as shown at the end of the video. The original date of acquisition for Mr. Gruson was 1911, however this this piece was originally in the collection of Hoyer that was sold off an 1893. This piece dates the latter 19th century. Overall in good condition.
