description: Absolutely gorgeous pearly pink translucent to almost transparent in many cases crystals of smithsonite to 1.0 cm in size thickly covering and scattered throughout a 16.0 x 11.0 x 6.0 cm breccia matrix. This is in outstanding condition. The color is intense in the luster very good. We sold the specimen once previously around 2009, it had been one of the better smithsonite specimens in the suite of the Minette collection. Comes with a custom display base. Previous label from the Minette collection accompanies the specimen as well. Ex Marshall Sussman collection.
