Smithsonite

specimen number:
8811237

location:
Rush district, Marion Co., Arkansas, USA

description:
A really good example of this Arkansas classic with yellow botryoidal crystallized smithsonite across the front of this matrix. Very slight chipping on the far right side of the specimen as shown up close in the video, this still very good. This locality has long been off-limits for collecting. Good botryoidal examples such as this were never terribly common anyway. The specimen comes with several previous collection labels as shown at the end of the video.
