An extremely rare and beautifully aesthetic pseudomorph specimen from the one of the world's most prolific mineral localities. A grouping of what were once prismatic terminated azurite crystals 6.0 x 4.0 x 2.5 cm in size are now completely replaced by glistening colorless to pale bluish green crystallized smithsonite. Complete all-around, this is an outstanding condition. Collected in the summer of 1980 and brought to market originally by the Zweibels, the specimen was bought at that time by Ken Roberts. He sold it to Jamie Bird. In the late 2000's this collection was dispersed and Ken reacquired it. Now we are happy to have it. This is a rare opportunity to acquire something extremely unusual from Tsumeb.
