Very attractive classic Arkansas specimen consisting of saddle shaped rhombohedral crystals of dolomite to 1.2 cm across, these covering the top of a 6.0 x 3.0 x 3.0 cm matrix, and then completely covered with yellow crystallize smithsonite. In very good condition. Sits perfectly by itself for display of a sawn base. Known locally as Turkey Fat smithsonite, the yellow color likely due to cadmium. Classic Arkansas material collected in the 1970s. Shipping weight: 0.14 pounds.
