description: Excellent example showing near freestanding saddle shaped crystals of dolomite to 1.7 cm in size, these being coated and replaced by yellow crystallize smithsonite. Quite aesthetic the waiver crystal stand up from the matrix. Measures 7.5 x 5.0 x 2.5 cm. Minimal chipping present, this on the backside of the piece and out of view of display. Known locally as Turkey Fat smithsonite, the yellow color likely due to cadmium. Classic Arkansas material collected in the 1970s. Shipping weight: 0.17 pounds.
