Bright yellow crystallize smithsonite coding and starting to replace saddle shaped crystals of dolomite to 2.0 cm in size. Typical of these there is minimal micro-chipping throughout, still this one I think is in very good condition. The matrix is coated with a drusy sparkling micro quartz. Known locally as Turkey fat smithsonite, the quality on this one is very nice. One edge is lightly sawn for trimming purposes. The piece can sit on this face. Measures 9.5 x 9.5 x 3.0 cm.
