Good crystallized smithsonite was never very common from this mining district. This specimen is outstanding with brilliant yellow crystallized smithsonite replacing previous scalenohedral crystals of calcite measuring to 0.5 cm in size, this all on a purple crystallized fluorite matrix. Previous label notes that the specimen was collected in 1963.
