5006580
location:
Tsumeb mine, Otjikoto, Namibia
description:
A very unusual pseudomorph replacement specimen from Tsumeb. This is a grouping of prismatic crystallized enargite, these now replaced by black sparkling crystallized sphalerite. A previous label comes with the specimen as shown at the end of the video, this label calling this galena. The species has been checked out and it really is sphalerite. Complete all around, this is in very good condition. Smithsonite, the galena, and cuprite are present as well.
Size: 12.0 x 6.0 x 2.0 cm (cabinet)
