A large museum sized specimen of this European classic consisting of large crude sphalerite crystals measuring to 10.0 cm across covering the top of a 24.0 x 23.0 x 15.0 cm matrix. White scalenohedral crystals of calcite to 5.0 cm are present as well. There is minor rubbing to the sphalerite crystals, some damage to the calcite is seen, still a very impressive large specimen for this locality. The crystals show a little bit of red translucency mainly to the edges of the piece. Sits perfectly by itself for display. Shipping weight: 25 pounds. Ex Renaud Vochten collection.
