Very unique specimen from the Emerald mines in Columbia. A red semi lustrous slightly translucent sphalerite crystal 3.5 cm in size is set on a matrix of crystallized calcite and quartz. Some of the calcite crystals show twinning and measure to 2.5 cm in size. This is in very good condition.
