description:
Large twinned lustrous crystals of sphalerite measuring to 3.8 cm in size across the top of matrix with what are quite large crystals for the species from mining district, golden chalcopyrite crystals to 0.6 cm in size. There is one area on the back left corner of the matrix that has one cleaved crystal, all of the prominent crystals are in great condition. Nice specimen collected circa 1960s.
