This is a gorgeous specimen from this old locality, black to red lustrous crystals of sphalerite measuring to 1.0 cm in size are thick over both sides of this matrix with sparkling crystals of pyrite and chalcopyrite. Some of the smaller crystals are more red in color and very gemmy. These were known as Ruby Jack crystals to the miners back when the mines were operating. They were always highly sought after specimens. This is in very good condition.
