Lustrous deep red slightly translucent crystals of sphalerite to 0.3 cm in size throughout this breccia matrix with crystallized pyrite. The small crystals show very good translucency. This is in good condition. The miners used to refer to this material as Ruby Jack sphalerite because of the color.
