The top side of this 16.0 x 11.0 x 5.5 cm matrix is covered with semi-lustrous black twinned crystals of sphalerite measuring to 1.2 cm in size. Minor pyrite present as well. Overall in very good condition. There is one fracture along the left side of the piece, this does not go all the way through to the bottom of the matrix however and the piece is quite stable. Neat large cabinet example for this famous mining district. Shipping weight: 4.6 pounds.
