description: Large thick "ruby jack" red translucent crystals of lustrous sphalerite to 4.0 cm across scattered thickly over a 9.0 x 6.0 x 5.0 cm crystallized quartz matrix. Sits perfectly for display by itself. In great condition damage-wise; the bottom part of the main crystal, facing down, is not complete. This is not visible when displayed properly. Overall a fantastic red sphalerite specimen. Ex Lloyd Tate collection.
