Despite the fact that zinc is an important economic mineral for this mining district, good examples with sizable crystals of this species are rarely if ever seen. This one has twinned crystals of sphalerite measuring to 1.0 cm in size on a matrix of crystallized quartz with minor dolomite. In very good condition.
