specimen number:
1653001
location:
Madan, Smolyon, Bulgaria
description: Lustrous slightly translucent crystals of sphalerite measuring to 1.0 cm in size across a crystallized quartz matrix. Some cleaving present as seen, still quite nice. The previous label gives the locality as Trepca in Kosovo, I believe this to believe this to be from Madan, Bulgaria.
