Translucent lustrous deep red twinned crystals of sphalerite measuring to 0.6 cm in size across the top of this crystallized quartz matrix with white dolomite. This is what the miners used to call Ruby Jack sphalerite. This is a good example with fairly large crystals for this type. In good condition. Collected in the 1960s.
