Beautiful pinkish red lustrous slightly translucent octahedral crystals of spinel measuring to 2.2 cm in size stacked attractively across the top of this white calcite matrix. This is in terrific condition all around and makes for an excellent hand sized example for the species from this locality. Brightly fluorescent under longwave ultraviolet light.
