Stibiconite after Stibnite
specimen number:
1503192
location:
San Jose Mine, Wadley, Mun. de Catorce, San Luis Potosi, Mexico
description:
Prismatic thin crystals of what were once stibnite to 3.5 cm in height, now replaced by earthy yellowish stibiconite, nice over the top of this 18.5 x 10.0 x 8.5 cm matrix. This is not perfect, but then rarely are specimens from this locality of this type perfect. I think in very good condition for what this is. It sits perfectly by itself for display. Shipping weight: 3.0 pounds. Ex Renaud Vochten collection.
Size: 18.5 x 10.0 x 8.5 cm (large-cabinet)
Collection: Renaud Vochten
