Stibnite with Calcite
specimen number:
7992168
location:
El Salvador mine, Charcas, San Luis Potosi, Mexico
description:
This is a superb example for the species from this area, a grouping of large thick lustrous stibnite crystals. Very minimal micro-chipping present, I think this in really good condition. Complete all around with minor calcite. Previous label shown at the end of the video from the collection of Terry Huizing, this notes an acquisition date in the late 1960s.
Size: 5.0 x 4.0 x 1.0 cm (miniature)
