location:
Minerva No. 1 Mine, Cave-in-Rock Sub-District, Illinois - Kentucky Fluorspar District, Hardin Co., Illinois, USA
description:
Two spherical shaped clusters of strontianite attached together to form a 2.4 x 1.5 x 1.3 cm grouping, nestled nicely amongst prismatic colorless lustrous translucent crystals of calcite to 1.5 cm in height. These are all covering a fluorite matrix. Micro-chipping present to some of the calcite crystals, I still believe this to be in very good condition and the strontianite is perfect all around. Measures 9.5 x 8.0 x 4.0 cm. Shipping weight: 0.64 pounds.
Size: 9.5 x 8.0 x 4.5 cm (cabinet)
