description:
A neat old time large cabinet piece consisting of a mostly sphalerite and quartz matrix, this mostly covered with glistening metallic crystals of tetrahedrite averaging 0.3 cm in size. Slight chipping present, this still in good condition for such an old time piece. This definitely predates 1940. The specimen comes with a previous antique label, this unfortunately torn due to age. On the back of the label it is noted that the piece was acquired from E. Beach.
