Imperial topaz has been known from this locality for years. The crystal shown above is outstanding in quality. The crystal measures 6.3 x 2.0 x 1.5 cm in size, is complete all around, and is sharply terminated on one end. The color is very rich and the crystal shows a lot of translucency, even some transparency. The crystal is lustrous. Micro-chipping present along some of the edges, these very tiny and sparse, only seen with magnification. Overall in great condition. A beautiful gem crystal weighing 29 grams.
