Imperial topaz is been known from this area for many years. Rarely are crystal seen on any kind of matrix. This is a very fine combination matrix example with a glassy gemmy crystal 3.4 cm in length terminated and set on a glassy and gemmy colorless quartz crystal. There are small rosettes of hematite crystals to 0.3 cm in diameter scattered throughout. Overall in great condition.
