Trilithionite is a lithium rich member of the mica group. It is closely related to lepidolite and typically occurs in granitic pegmatites where lithium rich fluids were present during crystallization. Trilithionite forms as platy or micaceous crystals that may appear pink, lilac, or pale colored.
