It is closely related to lepidolite and typically occurs in granitic pegmatites where lithium rich fluids were present during crystallization. Trilithionite forms as platy or micaceous crystals that may appear pink, lilac, or pale colored.
An attractive grouping of translucent purple crystals, these averaging 0.6 cm in size. No points of attachment and complete all around, in great condition.
