description: Lustrous sharply formed deep green crystals of uvarovite measuring as large as 1.3 cm across studded throughout an 11.0 x 10.0 x 6.0 cm quartz rich matrix. Minor pyrite present as well. Exceptionally large crystals for the species from the classic locality. Some chipping is seen, still a very good cabinet sized display piece for the species. Sits up perfectly by itself for display. Shipping weight: 1.45 pounds. Ex Renaud Vochten collection.
