Sparkling crystals of vanadinite measuring to 0.4 cm in size across the top of a breccia matrix. In good condition.

The Puzzler Mine in La Paz County, Arizona, is a historic lead mining locality in the Plomosa Mountains that was worked during the early 20th century. The deposit occurs in oxidized lead bearing veins in volcanic rocks and produced a variety of secondary minerals. The mine is well known among collectors for vanadinite, which occurs as bright hexagonal crystals formed in the oxidized zones of the ore.
