description: A flat of 18 thumbnail and miniature specimens, all labeled or with data cards from the Vochten collection. From lower left upper right these include quartz from Italy, quartz from Texas, quartz from Oregon, yellow wavellite from Arkansas, cuprite from Germany, limonite after pyrite from Namibia, goethite after marcasite from Egypt, almandine from Namibia, spessartine from India, chalcanthite from Arizona, bloedite from California, gypsum from Belgium, gypsum from Germany, scheelite from Australia, jarosite from Belgium, scheelite from Germany, aragonite from Morocco, and copper purported to be from South Carolina however I doubt this. The largest specimen in the lot measuring to almost 6.0 cm, some of the smaller ones to about 0.8 cm. All in good condition. Shipping weight: 1.88 pounds. Ex Renaud Vochten collection.
