Butterscotch colored platy crystals of wulfenite measuring to 2.5 cm in size throughout a brecciated matrix. Some damage present as seen. Neat old time specimen that comes with an antique label dating this to the very early 20th century. This is shown at the end of the video.

The Stevenson Bennett Mine in New Mexico is a small historic copper mining locality that was worked on a limited scale during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The deposit occurs in hydrothermal veins hosted in volcanic and sedimentary rocks, with mining focused on copper bearing minerals. Activity at the mine was relatively minor compared to larger districts, but it is known among collectors for producing choice examples of wulfenite, cerussite and hemimorphite.
