description: Lustrous caramel colored blocky crystals of wulfenite to 1.0 cm on edge aesthetic over the top of a 9.5 x 6.5 x 5.0 cm crystallized calcite matrix. This piece is been figured in several different publications, primarily in a book called Gems, Minerals, Crystals and Ores by noted author Richard Pearl in 1964. The specimen appears on page 277. It was also figured on a postcard put out by original owner of the specimen Reo Pickens in the very early 1970s. A copy of the postcard will come with the specimen. Very minimal micro-chipping present, still in very fine condition. Ex Charles Noll collection.
