Beautiful classic Bisbee specimen consisting of a matrix knob covered almost all sides by brilliant lustrous deep blue bladed azurite crystals. Small malachite replacing cuprite crystals are scattered throughout typical of this famous locality. In very fine condition. Previous label from the collection of Mark Hay, this notes that it one time the piece was part of the collection at the Field Museum in Chicago, Illinois.
