description: Glassy gemmy smoky terminated crystals of barite to 5.0 cm in height standing up nicely from a limestone matrix. Shows all around. Micro chipping at upper left is very tiny and minor; in the same area a small amount of white limestone matrix is attached to the crystal. Overall this is in great condition. Good matrix examples, with gemmy crystals, such as this have not been common. Collected in early 2012 and measures 9.0 x 6.0 x 5.0 cm in size. Outstanding small cabinet piece for this locality!
