description: This is an outstanding example for the species from this well-known and long closed Missouri locality. A cluster of bladed barite crystals lightly dusted with hematite forming a cluster with minor calcite and chalcopyrite. Very slight micro-damage present, this one is extremely clean compared to most. This would likely have been collected in the 1970s.
