Large thick glassy lustrous gem quality amber colored tabular crystals of barite to 6.2 cm on edge are set on a thin matrix. Shows nicely all around; the only damage on the extreme periphery of the piece due to removal of the specimen from the pocket in the mine. Overall in great condition; the quality is very high. From the noted finds at this famous locality in the late 1990's. Size: 7.5 x 7.0 x 5.0 cm. Ref: The Mineralogical Record: 30: 187-196.
