description: Neat two generation barite specimen showing thin platy crystals of barite orange red due to iron oxide, these hosting colorless slightly translucent prismatic orthorhombic crystals to 7.5 cm in length. Some chipping present, this mainly to the edges of the thin platy crystals, still I think in good condition. Measures 9.0 x 9.0 x 3.0 cm. Shipping weight: 0.51 pounds. Ex Jordi Povill collection.
