A choice example for the species from this Mexican locality, thin bladed colorless to bluish green crystals of barite to 2.7 cm in size are forming a cluster with little attached limonite matrix. This is in very good condition. This is brightly fluorescent under both longwave and shortwave ultraviolet light.
