description: Absolutely wonderful glassy gemmy amber tabular crystals of barite to 6.0 cm on edge over the top of a crystallized calcite matrix. This is complete all-around and in excellent condition I think. Measures 12.0 x 6.5 x 5.0 cm. The quality is superb. The piece sits perfectly by itself for display. From the mining at this locality in the late 1990s. Ex Lloyd Tate collection.
