description:
I think an absolutely wonderful example for the species from this Nevada locality. Pale yellowish mostly gemmy and lustrous translucent crystals of barite to 4.0 cm in size are set nicely up on a crystallized orpiment matrix. This is in very good condition. The specimen would have been collected in the late 1990s.
