description: Outstanding old-time specimen from this closed locality! A 15.0 x 10.0 x 9.5 cm matrix, the top covered almost completely by sparkling thin bladed bright red barite crystals to 2.0 cm in size. The intense red color is due to inclusions of realgar. Minor chipping as seen, to be expected on a piece of this size and type of crystallization. Overall, in my opinion, this is in great condition. The color is intense; the piece will add a lot of color to any cabinet! Fine Romanian classic!
