description: Very pretty blue gem quality double terminated aquamarine crystal measuring 8.5 x 4.0 x 3.8 cm in size. This is partly "jacketed" with blocky white crystals of albite to 1.0 cm in size. Some chipping is present at the base of the crystal, lower right as you look at it. Complete all around; the base of the crystal is naturally terminated. An oustanding combination gem crystal specimen. The specimen comes with a special acrylic display base. Ex Lloyd Tate collection. Photos by Joe Budd.
